Yes, an angry pity, but pity all the same. On the other side, my favourite character was actually Huey, since he's the only one that made me feel any emotion at all in this game: Pity. He's just a kid that needs a clip round the earhole and to sit in his room for a few hours. I had always assumed that the resentment we gathered from MGS1 was because of some event that happened, some moment that triggered a violent hatred for Big Boss and Solid Snake he curses his very fate of being what he feels is inferior.that's incredibly powerful.īut in MGSV's incarnation, Liquid's always just been a little shitty brat for no reason. In fact, it even retconned wonderfully dynamic characters into cardboard cutout, paper-thin shitheads, to put it bluntly. It's a very, very one dimensional game that delivered precisely zero of it's promises and, conversely, actually had more going on in the sales pitch than the final product. Gameplay-wise, it's wonderful, but.I mean, that's all it has. I mean, I didn't put 250 hours into it for nothing, but it's fairly obviously either unfinished, cut to pieces or rushed out and it's somehow winning game of the year everywhere despite having an awfully boring plot and a very wooden cast of characters. Fallout 4 is another one.very, very tepid, same as with MGSV. So many should-have-been-awesome games have come out this year.

It's good, don't get me wrong.but it's about a million light-years from Game of the Year.
